The TOURBIT initiative, co-funded by the COSME programme, is a collaborative effort involving eight organizations from seven different countries. This public-private partnership aims to advance the digital transformation of European tourism SMEs. Since its inception in January 2022, the project has engaged over 200 key stakeholders from across Europe. By fostering peer exchanges, TOURBIT enhances the resilience and competitiveness of tourism SMEs through a variety of transnational and cross-sector support services. The project is set to continue until June 2024, with notable outcomes including digital transformation, financial support for selected SMEs, and increased competitiveness and cooperation.
