The Swedish Steel Prize has opened its international competition for companies and institutions developing innovative products and methods that make effective use of steel. The award aims to recognise solutions that contribute to business, industry and society through engineering excellence and innovation. 

Entries are assessed by an independent jury based on criteria including innovation, sustainability, performance and competitiveness. The competition provides an opportunity for organisations to showcase innovative steel applications while gaining international visibility among industry stakeholders and technology leaders. The deadline for applications is 17th January 2027.
