In 2024, the European Commission's High-Level Construction Forum (HLCF) organised four webinars to contribute to the implementation of the objectives of the Transition Pathway for Construction, focusing on sustainability, digitalisation, indoor air quality, and industrialised construction methods.

  • 12 March 2024: the first webinar centred on EU initiatives promoting circular economy and climate mitigation within the construction sector, highlighting strategies to reduce environmental impact and enhance resource efficiency.

  • 21 March 2024: the second session delved into the digital transition of the construction sector, discussing the integration of digital tools and technologies to improve productivity and sustainability.

  • 23 October 2024: the third webinar addressed indoor air quality, providing insights into requirements and presenting a toolbox for stakeholders to ensure healthier indoor environments in buildings.

  • 21 November 2024: the final webinar focused on industrialised construction methods, exploring offsite construction techniques and their potential to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental footprints.

  •

These webinars facilitated knowledge exchange among stakeholders, promoting collaborative efforts to achieve a resilient, sustainable, and digitally advanced construction sector in the EU.
