The webinar will address fire safety considerations related to solar installations, insulation and the building envelope, energy storage systems, and other technical building elements such as heat pumps. Based on reviews of scientific literature, fire incident data, standards, regulations and practices from across Europe and beyond, the guidance is intended to support safer implementation of building renovation and electrification measures. The event is relevant for policymakers, public authorities, fire safety professionals, the construction sector, energy technology providers, insurers and researchers, and offers participants an opportunity to better understand regulatory gaps, emerging risks and practical recommendations.
