“Sustainable Cooling in Cities: Learnings from the State-of-the-Art Report” will take place online on 7 September 2026 from 09:00 to 10:15 CEST. Organised by AIVC, venticool and IEA EBC Annex 97/Task 5, and facilitated by INIVE, the event is open to participants free of charge upon registration. The webinar will showcase key findings from the Sustainable Cooling in Cities initiative, including methodologies for assessing urban cooling solutions, examples of cooling measures implemented in urban environments and policy practices identified across 13 cities. Speakers from the Institute of Building Research & Innovation (Austria), the University of Perugia (Italy), Osaka Metropolitan University (Japan) and Munster Technological University (Ireland) will share insights from the review and discuss approaches to improving urban climate resilience.
