Austria will advance a reform for raising awareness of building culture that will establish a framework for ‘Baukultur’ combining high quality architecture and built environment considering social, ecological, economic, and cultural components. Circular techniques such as design for deconstruction and reuse of components require different approaches than the traditional linear model and necessitate further development of the European sustainability indicators.
