The “Tourism and Sustainability in the Four Key Markets" report, authored by Mette Johnsen and published by VisitDenmark in March 2024, provides an analysis of sustainable tourism practices across four key markets: Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway. The report is based on data collected through web interviews conducted in 2022 as part of VisitDenmark’s annual Image and Potential Analysis. This report is crucial for understanding how sustainability influences tourists’ travel behaviors and choices, helping tourism stakeholders develop strategies to promote environmentally friendly and sustainable tourism practices (The original piece available only in Danish).
