According to statistics, as of April 2024, Slovenia had a total capacity of 149,804 bedplaces, with 35.0% in mountain resorts and 7.8% in urban municipalities, while Ljubljana was the most popular destination with 22.8% of over 400,000 arrivals.

According to the latest data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, the total capacity of bedplaces in Slovenia as of April 2024 was 149,804. Most of these bedplaces are located in mountain resorts (35.0%), while the fewest are in urban municipalities (7.8%). During the same period, the total number of arrivals exceeded 400,000, with Ljubljana, the capital, being the most popular destination (22.8%). Compared to the same period in 2019, the total number of arrivals is slightly lower, while the number of bedplaces has increased, indicating a positive sentiment among businesses.
