The average share of tourism ecosystem enterprises seeking information and communication technology specialists in EU countries decreased from 3.7% in 2019 to 3.6% in 2022. According to the EU Tourism Dashboard, while most countries saw little change, some are leading in their propensity towards digitalization. Notably, Spain maintained a high share of enterprises recruiting or attempting to recruit ICT specialists, remaining at 10%, indicating the country’s focus on industry digitalization.
