In 2022, the average percentage of tourism ecosystem enterprises with online sales among EU destinations was 38.2%. According to the EU Tourism Dashboard, the highest values were observed in Spain, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, and Denmark, where the percentage was around 60.0%. This suggests a higher level of digital transformation in the industry within these destinations. Comparing to 2019, the same countries were leaders, but the indicators were at a level around 45.0%, except for Finland. Finland made significant progress since 2019, increasing digital transformation among tourism ecosystem enterprises from 16.0% to 58.4%. This indicates a positive trend in the digital direction among tourism enterprises.
