According to statistics, the average CO₂ emissions per air passenger around EU destinations in 2022 was 103.2 kg, with variations from 60.7 kg in Croatia to 132.7 kg in France.

According to the EU Tourism Dashboard, the average CO₂ emissions per air passenger around EU destinations in 2022 was 103.2 kg of CO₂ per passenger. However, there was variation among EU destinations, ranging from 60.7 kg of CO₂ per passenger in Croatia to 132.7 kg of CO₂ per passenger in France. Lower values indicate lower emissions per air passenger, while higher values are typically associated with long-haul flights.
