Approximately 38.4% of EU citizens did not travel in 2022. Eurostat data reveals that among those aged 15-24 who didn’t travel, financial reasons were the primary cause, while health concerns was the main reason not to travel for individuals aged 65 and older. For most people aged 25-64, financial constraints were the main obstacle to travel. However, compared to the pre-pandemic period, more people faced financial limitations, suggesting positive shifts in the industry.
