During the initial four months of 2024, the Polish Statistics Office recorded a total of 9.7 million tourists visiting Poland. This number included nearly 2.0 million international visitors and 7.8 million nationals. Among the international tourists, 21.7% came from Germany, 12.7% from Ukraine, and 10.7% from the United Kingdom. Comparatively, in 2019, there were 9.2 million tourists during the same timeframe, indicating a 5.4% increase in 2024. The leading countries of origin for foreign visitors remained consistent, contributing to over 42.1% of the total international tourist population in 2019, which marks a growing reliance on these countries for tourism demand. The Polish Statistics Office provides detailed data on tourists (both domestic and foreign) in tourist accommodation establishments, freely available in Excel format.
