In 2023, Slovak residents took a total of 11.0 million trips, with the majority (64.2%) using motor vehicles. This preference for motor vehicles remained consistent for both domestic and international trips. Sustainable travel options, such as rail transport, accounted for 12.6% of domestic trips and 8.6% of international trips.
