Tourism indicators show that as of May 2024, Latvia experienced a notable increase in tourist accommodations, with the highest concentration in the Kurzeme region.

As of May 2024, Latvia had a total of 1,128 tourist accommodations, marking an 8.4% increase from May 2023 and a 14.6% rise from May 2022. The Kurzeme region had the highest number of establishments (25.4% of the total), followed by Riga among cities (9.8%) and Cēsis municipality among municipalities (6.9%). Riga also led in bed places capacity, both in the statistical region and among cities (30.8%), with Tukums municipality leading among municipalities (4.6%). The National Statistical System of Latvia provides more data through a free, automatically updated database, allowing users to select criteria and explore hotels and other tourist accommodations across regions, state cities, and municipalities from 2022 to 2024.
