The Institute of SETE-INSETE provides comprehensive data on short-term rentals in Greece through its Business Intelligence platform. These data are presented via interactive graphs and tables, covering the period from 2019 to 2025, and are available at both national and regional levels. Key indicators include property and bed capacity, occupancy rates, average daily rate, average length of stay, booking window, and visitor origin.
According to the data, March 2025 recorded the highest number of listed properties for that month since 2019, reaching 221.8 thousand. A similar trend was observed in bed capacity, which peaked at 981.2 thousand in the same month. Typically, the highest figures for both properties and bed capacity are observed between July and September.
The platform aims to monitor the development of the short-term rental market as part of Greece’s broader tourism ecosystem and to provide stakeholders with reliable data to support strategic planning, pricing, and investment decisions.
The data are presented via Microsoft Power BI, allowing users to interactively explore trends and performance metrics. Access is available via the link on the left-hand side of the platform.
