The number of EU Ecolabel licenses for tourist accommodations has doubled from 392 in September 2020 to 778, demonstrating substantial progress in the sector.

EU Ecolabel figures are biannually released on the Facts & Figures page of the EU Ecolabel website. The next ones will be published on 10 October 2024. In summary for tourist accommodation services:
- Tourist accommodation services now hold 778 licenses covering 799 services.
- The top five countries for awarding Tourist accommodation services are France (338), Austria (182), Italy (76), Slovenia (67), and Spain (59).
- Additionally, 13 services are based outside the EEA, primarily in Switzerland and Montenegro.
- Since March 2024, 94 new licenses have been issued.
- The number of tourism accommodations has doubled in just four years, rising from 392 licenses in September 2020 to the current figures.
