EU Ecolabel figures are biannually released on the Facts & Figures page of the EU Ecolabel website. The next ones will be published on 10 October 2024. In summary for tourist accommodation services:

  • Tourist accommodation services now hold 778 licenses covering 799 services.
  • The top five countries for awarding Tourist accommodation services are France (338), Austria (182), Italy (76), Slovenia (67), and Spain (59).
  • Additionally, 13 services are based outside the EEA, primarily in Switzerland and Montenegro.
  • Since March 2024, 94 new licenses have been issued.
  • The number of tourism accommodations has doubled in just four years, rising from 392 licenses in September 2020 to the current figures.
