The most recent figures from Dataestur and AENA indicate that during the initial four months of 2024, there were 86.4 million air transport passengers, marking an 11.9% increase compared to the corresponding period in 2023. International flights constituted the majority at 66.2%, surpassing domestic flights, which accounted for 33.8%. Travel trends show that the summer season is the peak time for flying, while the early months at the start of the year see fewer travelers.
