On 7–8 May 2025, the European Investment Bank (EIB), through its advisory initiative JASPERS, conducted a training session on the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) in Ireland. The event was aimed at stakeholders from local, regional, and national levels, providing practical guidance on the SUMP process, as well as the development and implementation of urban mobility solutions.

The training featured 19 modules—comprising three core modules and sixteen elective ones—that offered an in-depth exploration of the challenges and best practices involved in establishing SUMPs. Key topics included the integration of local and strategic transport planning, multi-modal scenario development, freight and logistics, and improving accessibility through SUMP and spatial planning.

All training materials presented during the session are available on the JASPERS website via the attached link.
