The Excursion Management Panel was part of the Final SUSTOUR Event held on September 13-14, 2023, in Cascais, Portugal. This event concluded a 3-year EU-COSME funded project aimed at empowering European tour operators and travel agents for a sustainable future. The panel included an expert keynote and best practice presentations focusing on sustainable excursion management. This initiative promotes responsible tourism practices that protect natural and cultural resources, ensuring that tourism activities benefit local communities and the environment.
