It highlights the importance of cultural heritage, digitalization, and sustainability. The session features presentations on the ‘Smart Tourism’ framework by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) and the ‘Smart Destinations’ initiative by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).
