The UN Tourism and the Government of Andorra, in collaboration with the Parish of Encamp, hosted the 12th World Congress on Snow, Mountain, and Wellness Tourism from March 20-22, 2024, in Andorra. The event aimed to establish a permanent forum for discussing the development and sustainability of tourism in mountain regions. On the second day of the congress (March 21, 2024), discussions centered around boosting year-round premium tourism in mountain areas, diversifying mountain tourism offerings by incorporating activities and services aligned with new market trends, and providing learning and professional development opportunities for workers and employers in the tourism sector, particularly in areas related to sustainability, climate change, and innovation. The recorded discussions are freely accessible to all interested parties.
