The Austrian Federal Ministries of Labour and Economy, and Climate Action, organised a symposium on sustainable tourism mobility on 7–8 November 2024. It gathered representatives from national administrations across the pan-European region, focusing on mobility, transport, tourism, and climate action. The symposium featured three sessions: one on inspiring sustainable tourism mobility, another on the challenges of long-distance train travel for tourists, and a final session on promoting active mobility. The goal was to foster an interactive dialogue among stakeholders from the mobility and tourism sectors, presenting a guide with practical recommendations and case studies on advancing sustainable mobility in tourism. All presentations from the event are available for interested parties via the attached link.
