The European Commission, in collaboration with the European Disability Forum, is hosting a conference in Brussels on 28-29 November to highlight and address the daily challenges faced by persons with disabilities. The first day will feature discussions on the EU Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030 and the right to independent living. The second day will focus on accessibility in cities and will include the Access City Award ceremony, which recognises EU cities making significant efforts to become accessible for persons with disabilities. The event will be live-streamed on both days via the attached link, with no registration or payment required to participate.
