Applications are now open for the 2025 Rail Tourism Awards, organised by the European Travel Commission (ETC) and Eurail. These awards celebrate the most impactful initiatives that promote train travel as a sustainable, mindful, and enriching way to explore Europe.
The awards invite participation from National Tourism Organisations, Destination Marketing Organisations, rail companies, tourism businesses, marketing agencies, and other entities within the tourism and rail industries. To be eligible, campaigns must highlight rail travel within Europe—whether through cross-border journeys or national and regional routes.
This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between the rail and tourism sectors, support Europe’s green transition, encourage travellers to embrace rail tourism, boost the visibility of European destinations, and promote slow travel across the continent.
Applications must be submitted by 29 August 2025.
