The Austrian Tourism Award is a national annual award in Austria, organised by the Austrian Tourism Award GmbH. It recognises outstanding, innovative, and sustainable contributions that enrich Austria’s tourism landscape.

The award is open to companies, individual professionals, and projects from the tourism, gastronomy, hospitality, events, and cultural sectors in Austria. Participants may apply in one of 29 categories, which are divided into two main groups:

  • Industry-Specific Categories: Hotel Industry and Hospitality, Food, Experiences and Culture, Sights
  • Cross-Industry Categories: Excellence and Customer Orientation, Innovation and Future, Sustainability and Social Responsibility, Cultural Representation and Popularity

Applications must be submitted via the official website using the designated form. The standard submission fee is €279, although Early Bird entries are free (the deadline for the next round has not yet been announced).

The award ceremony takes place annually during a formal gala event. The date and location are announced on the official website (The original piece available only in German).
