The European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF), in partnership with a host city or region along the EuroVelo network, will organise the EuroVelo & Cycling Tourism Conference from 24th to 26th September 2025 in Balatonfüred, Hungary. This annual event serves as a dynamic platform for discussion and knowledge exchange on the latest trends and innovations in cycling tourism, EuroVelo, and cycle route networks.
The conference gathers a diverse audience from across Europe, including destination managers, cycling tourism professionals, academics, tourism authorities, public officials, user groups, tour operators, public transport providers, and hospitality representatives to share best practices, discuss policies, and promote sustainable travel through cycling. The 2025 conference will focus on the theme "Cycling Towards a Sustainable Future" and feature presentations by international experts, workshops, and global business networking opportunities.
