The ECF has strengthened its involvement in the EU’s Transition Pathway for Tourism by expanding its pledges to address 12 of the 27 action topics, and is calling on stakeholders to submit their own pledges to help enhance the sector’s role in Europe’s sustainable tourism future.

The European Cyclists' Federation (ECF), an independent non-profit association based in Brussels, has actively contributed to the European Commission’s Transition Pathway for Tourism by making a series of commitments to promote cycling tourism. The organisation submitted pledges under 12 action topics, aiming to highlight cycling and EuroVelo as key components in the shift towards sustainable mobility within the European tourism sector.
