The LIFE European City Facility has opened its 7th call for applications, offering up to EUR 60,000 to municipalities, local authorities, and their groupings from the EU, Iceland, and Ukraine to develop sustainable energy investment concepts.

The LIFE European City Facility has launched its 7th call for applications, open until December 18, 2024. This initiative aims to assist municipalities, local authorities, and their groupings from the EU, Iceland, and Ukraine in creating Investment Concepts for sustainable energy projects. The objective is to establish a strong pipeline of sustainable energy investments across Europe. The application process includes an eligibility check followed by a full application submission, with evaluations based on criteria such as ambition, governance, stakeholder engagement, and coherence. Successful applicants can receive up to EUR 60,000 for activities necessary to develop their investment concepts.
