On 15 October 2024, the European Commission launched the call for proposals for the Joint Cluster Initiatives (EUROCLUSTERS) for Europe’s recovery (SMP-COSME-2024-CLUSTER). This initiative, part of the Single Market Programme, aims to bolster the resilience and recovery of Europe's industrial ecosystems, including tourism. The call focuses on fostering innovation, adopting new processes, and enhancing advanced technologies to build capacity and drive the transformation towards a greener, more digital, and resilient economy.

For the tourism sector, the initiative seeks to:

  • Strengthen value chains within the EU Single Market
  • Promote sustainable and digital transitions
  • Enhance workforce skills through training and upskilling
  • Boost international cooperation to improve access to global supply and value chains.

Proposals must be submitted by a consortium of at least three applicants by 5 February 2025. For more information, follow the attached link on the left-hand side of the platform.
