New FACILITATE Survey Seeks Input to Shape Europe's Tourism Data Future. The EU-funded FACILITATE project has launched a Stakeholder & Needs Assessment Survey, calling on tourism actors across Europe to help shape the tools, training and community that will underpin the European Tourism Data Space (ETDS) and related digital initiatives.
Open until 9 March 2026, the 15-minute survey invites input from DMOs, SMEs, public authorities, tech providers and more. Responses will directly influence practical guidelines, targeted training and the creation of a lasting pan-European tourism data community.

Just Launched: Stakeholder & Needs Assessment Survey. Take Part Now.
The FACILITATE project launched a comprehensive Stakeholder & Needs Assessment Survey, calling on tourism stakeholders across Europe to help shape the tools, trainings and community that will underpin the European Tourism Data Space (ETDS) and related digital initiatives.
Co-funded by the European Union, FACILITATE was officially launched on 1 November 2025. By connecting stakeholders with the tools and services being developed across Europe's evolving tourism data landscape, the project aims to build a lasting, pan-European community committed to a more resilient, sustainable and data-driven tourism ecosystem. The project is funded under the European Union’s PPPA-2024-SKILL-FOR-TOURISM call and will run for twenty-four months.
The survey invites input from tourism stakeholders, including Destination Management Organisations (DMOs), SMEs, public authorities, tech providers, data holders, industry associations and academic institutions, to ensure that emerging data initiatives are tailored to real-world needs.
Take the Survey. The FACILITATE Stakeholder & Needs Assessment Survey is available online and will remain open until 9 March 2026.

Europe's tourism sector stands at a pivotal moment,' said, Dolores Ordoñez, Project Coordinator at AnySolution.‘With initiatives like the European Tourism Data Space taking shape, we have an unprecedented opportunity to unlock the power of shared data for better decision-making, improved visitor experiences and progress toward the green transition. But to get it right, we need to hear from the people on the ground who will use these tools every day.
FACILITATE builds on and complements existing initiatives such as D3HUB or DEPLOYTOUR, which is working to establish the basis of a common European tourism data space through pilots in five European regions. Together, these projects are laying the foundation for a more connected, efficient, and data-driven European travel ecosystem.
The project consortium, coordinated by AnySolution, brings together DIH Tourism 4.0 from Czechia, the communication agency Scholz and Friends from Berlin, NECSTouR, Turismo y Deporte de Andalucía, Breda University of Applied Sciences and associated partners Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação and Lapland University of Applied Sciences.
