The Ministry of Tourism is offering EUR 13 million in non-repayable contributions to tourism-accommodation businesses in Apennine ski areas that suffered significant revenue losses due to low snowfall between November 2023 and March 2024, with applications open from 11 June to 10 July 2025 via certified email.

The Ministry of Tourism has launched a call for proposals to support tourism businesses, particularly hotel managers in Apennine ski areas, affected by economic losses due to lack of snow between November 2023 and March 2024. 

The initiative entails a non-repayable contribution from a fund of 13 million euros for 2024.

Eligible applicants include hotel managers and related tourism-accommodation businesses—such as hostels, refuges, and B&Bs—operating or headquartered in municipalities identified by regional authorities within the Apennine ski zones. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate a revenue loss of at least 30% in the reference period, compared to the same dates in 2021–2022, and must be classified under the updated ATECO 2025 codes, including 55.10.00 “Hotel and similar accommodation services.

Applications are open from 11 June to 10 July 2025 via Certified Electronic Mail, requiring a certified appraisal from a registered auditor (The original piece available only in Italian).
