The Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée region has launched a call for projects focused on sustainable, responsible, and inclusive tourism, aiming to support the transformation of its tourism sector—the region’s second-largest economic driver.

Eligible projects may include:

Initiatives that transform tourism activities with a focus on environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and economic sovereignty
Modernisation efforts for spa towns, as well as coastal, rural, and mountain resorts, and major tourist sites
Development of outdoor recreational activities
Structuring of pedestrian, equestrian, and river-based roaming routes
Expansion and improvement of tourist accommodation

Who can apply:

Local authorities and their groupings
Local public or mixed-capital companies managing public facilities
Associations and companies that own or manage social and solidarity-based tourism accommodation

Funding details:

The total regional aid per project is capped at EUR 500,000, which includes:

Up to EUR 300,000 in grants (with a maximum of EUR 50,000 allocated for studies)
Up to EUR 200,000 in repayable advances
