The Ministry of Economy, Tourism, and Sport has allocated EUR 15.2 million from EU resilience and recovery funds to enhance the quality of tourist accommodation for the sustainable development of Slovenian tourism. This initiative aims to improve infrastructure and services, thereby boosting competitiveness and adding value to the tourism sector. The public tender is divided into two parts: co-financing the renovation or reconstruction of high-quality tourist accommodation and co-financing the construction of new high-quality tourist accommodation. Enterprises of all sizes with at least two employees and a registered office or branch in Slovenia, engaged in hospitality and tourism activities - including hotels, motels, boarding houses, guest houses, tourist farms, campsites, and glamping sites - can submit applications by 27 February 2025.
