The Slovenian Regional Development Fund has introduced the BIZI OPO Tourism financial product, offering grants and loans to support sustainable private tourist accommodation investments in Slovenia's border regions, with applications open until June 2025.

The Slovenian Regional Development Fund (Slovenski regionalno razvojni sklad) has launched the BIZI OPO Tourism financial product, offering grants ranging from EUR 100,000 to EUR 200,000 and loans between EUR 100,000 and EUR 3,000,000 to support investments in higher added value private tourist accommodation in Slovenia's border problem areas. Eligible applicants include entities registered as a general partnership, limited partnership, private limited company, public limited company, partnership limited by shares, European public company, individuals conducting market activities independently, and cooperatives registered in the court or business register before 1 January 2022. Applications can be submitted until 6 June 2025, or until the available funds are used up. 

Projects must meet at least one of the following objectives: developing green and sustainable services, ensuring sustainable company operations, reducing emissions and carbon footprint, transitioning to a circular economy, or expanding additional tourist offers.
