Tourism SMEs in the food sector across five EU countries can now apply for the TASTE project programme, which provides funding for collaborative initiatives that promote sustainability, digitalisation, and resilience in the industry.

The TASTE EU-funded project has launched the Go Green, Get Digital, Be Resilient Programme to enhance the competitiveness of tourism SMEs by supporting their transition towards sustainable, digital, and resilient business models.
The programme is open to SMEs and organisations registered in Belgium, Italy, Latvia, Slovenia, or Spain, operating in the tourism sector with a focus on food.
Applicants must form a collaborative consortium of 2 to 5 organisations, with at least 50% being tourism SMEs. Projects must address at least two of the following transformation goals:
- Green Transition and Sustainability
- Digital Transition
- Resilience
The programme will support a minimum of 40 collaborative projects, involving at least 80 organisations, with a total financial allocation of EUR 750,000. Each selected project may receive EUR 15,000, along with technical support and opportunities for increased visibility through international events organised by TASTE. Additionally, the top 15 projects following the Demo Day may be awarded an extra EUR 10,000.
