The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Albania has issued a call for proposals under the "Lifelong Empowerment and Protection in Albania" programme, which aims to improve employment opportunities and skills development for Economic Aid recipients in the hospitality and tourism sectors. Civil society organisations, social enterprises, and licensed non-governmental academic and educational institutions based or operating in Albania are invited to submit project proposals. These proposals should focus on supporting women with job counselling and placement services in the tourism and hospitality sectors in Lezha and/or Vora, establishing partnerships for a Traineeship Programme targeting youth from families receiving Economic Aid, developing training programmes using a voucher scheme for vulnerable adults, and offering financial support for participation in vocational training courses for Economic Aid recipients, persons with disabilities, and youth aged 15-29. Selected applicants are expected to execute these services in collaboration with Local Employment Offices and the business community, and can form partnerships or create synergies with governmental employment promotion programmes through official collaboration with the National Agency for Employment and Skills (NAES). Funding between 2,000,000 ALL and 5,000,000 ALL per project is available.
