The Province of Overijssel has launched a funding programme to help SMEs in the tourism sector improve quality and sustainability, with a total allocated amount of EUR 2,075,000 available until the end of 2027.

The Province of Overijssel (Provincie Overijssel) has launched a funding programme to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism sector in enhancing the quality and sustainability of their operations. Eligible SMEs must be registered with the Chamber of Commerce in Overijssel under one of the following SBI codes: 55 Accommodation (excluding conference venues under code 55.10.2 and Bed and Breakfasts), 93.2 Other recreation (including 93.12 Outdoor sports not primarily funded by municipalities, excluding 93.21.2 Fairground attractions). Funding is available for activities such as energy measures, greening initiatives and development plans, digitisation and data-driven work, accessibility improvements for people with disabilities, circular activities for reusing materials and reducing waste, and climate measures to reduce and retain water use. The subsidy limit for the years 2025 to 2027 is set at EUR 2,075,000. Applications will be accepted until the end of 2027 or until the funds are depleted.
