Directive (EU) 2023/2413, adopted on 18 October 2023, strengthens EU legislation to promote renewable energy, aligning with the European Green Deal and climate neutrality goals for 2050. It amends Directive (EU) 2018/2001, Regulation (EU) 2018/1999, and Directive 98/70/EC while repealing Council Directive (EU) 2015/652.
