The European Commission will hold its first Implementation Dialogue on biocides on 15 July 2025 in Brussels. The event will gather manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders to discuss practical challenges in applying the EU Biocidal Products Regulation (EU) 528/2012.
The dialogue aims to collect feedback on key barriers companies face in the approval, authorisation, and use of biocidal products and treated articles. Insights shared during the session will help inform the ongoing evaluation of the regulation and explore ways to improve its effectiveness.
The conclusions of the dialogue will be summarised and published online after the event.
