Several years ago, ADLER introduced a new "Terra" product group to the market. The special feature of these products is that, in addition to their positive environmental properties (low solvent content, no toxic, carcinogenic and environmentally and health hazardous ingredients), they have a high proportion of natural and renewable raw materials (80% or more). This primarily concerns the use of binders that are produced on the basis of renewable raw materials (biomass).
The following products have already been developed to date: Lignovit Terra (wood protection for interior and exterior use), Pullex Aqua-Terra (wood oil for interior and exterior use), Bluefin Terra-Diamond (transparent furniture coating), Aquawood Finapro-Terra (transparent window coating), Terra Wax-Oil (wax oil for interior use), Aviva Terra-Ultrawhite (white wall paint for interior use). The medium-term goal (by around 2030) is to develop further Terra-products based on renewable raw materials in order to cover all the requirements of our customers in the timber construction, window and furniture industry, carpentry, painting and paint trade.
