One focus of ADLER's product policy is water-based coatings (paints, varnishes, oils and stains). These products are characterized by a very low solvent emission content (VOC). Firstly, this greatly reduces the need for fossil raw materials. Secondly, environmentally and climate-damaging VOC emissions can be avoided and the ecological footprint significantly reduced. Thirdly, risks to health and safety in the processing of the products can also be avoided. Currently, more than 65% of all ADLER's products are water-based, and this proportion is to be further increased in the future. Particularly environmentally friendly products from ADLER are grouped together in the ADLER green range. These products are extensively certified in ADLER's own research & development and tested with regard to ecology, health and safety as well as product performance, efficiency and service life. This ensures that these products secure the highest possible sustainability standard for the respective area of application. The goal is to increase the share of these ecological products in ADLER's total sales to 20% by 2025.
