The Ministry of the Economy published a guide in 2015 for tourism professionals in Luxembourg, focusing on accessible tourism. This guide is intended to promote accessibility and hospitality for all visitors, including those with disabilities, the elderly, and families with children. It offers practical advice and recommendations to help tourism stakeholders identify and address challenges, contributing to a coherent accessibility chain. The guide outlines the basic architectural accessibility requirements for establishments to receive the EureWelcome label, recognizing efforts to make tourist attractions accessible. It also includes a checklist for assessing infrastructure and services. Developed with input from accessibility and tourism experts, this guide is part of Luxembourg’s “Design for All” initiative.
