The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), together with Iberostar Hotels & Resorts and Oxford Economics, released a report in November 2024 that explores the global economic impact of coastal and marine tourism and its environmental footprint. It highlights various focus areas and offers recommendations for reducing emissions and adapting to climate challenges.
