The OECD report, released on November 20, 2023, focuses on supporting Romania’s Regional Development Agencies (RDAs). It highlights the challenges these agencies face in aligning regional development objectives, expanding the definition of innovation, and engaging stakeholders. It offers recommendations in three key areas, such as strategic planning and performance measurement, finance and implementation, and communication and stakeholder engagement. It is designed to enhance the strategic planning and innovation services of RDAs.
