The EU ECO-CRUISING FU_TOUR project (started Sep 2022) aims to enhance the skills of West Mediterranean SMEs in the tourism sector, as well as public and private stakeholders responsible for promoting coastal and maritime destinations. Through specialized capacity-building programs and eco-smart packages, the project focuses on managerial, innovative, blue, green, and digital skills. The accompanying report investigates opportunities and barriers in the eco-cruise sector, highlights good practices, and conducts a need assessment to develop a strategic plan for sustainable practices within WESTMED tourism businesses and destinations.
