The European Travel Commission’s report, published in April 2025, offers insights into the travel intentions and behaviours of Europeans between April and September 2025. It shows a slight decline in overall travel intentions compared to last year (72%, down by 3%). However, travellers are planning longer stays, spending more, and exploring new destinations. The report examines the sentiment, drivers, and behaviours for domestic and intra-European travel across ten high-volume European source markets: Germany, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Poland, and Austria. It is structured into four main sections, providing an overview of highlights and recommendations, travel intentions, planning details, and travel considerations to assist tourism stakeholders in preparing for the upcoming seasons.
