The CORDIS Synergy Info Pack: Waterborne Transport for a Green Future, published in June 2024 by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency, highlights collaborative efforts across 13 EU-funded projects. These initiatives aim to enhance the sustainability, efficiency, and competitiveness of Europe’s waterborne transport sector, addressing air pollution and emissions control to help achieve a carbon-neutral continent. Their work takes place across Europe and contributes to achieving a carbon-neutral continent while maintaining a globally competitive shipping sector.
