The "Tourism Outlook - April 2024" report by Turismo de Portugal provides an overview of the performance of Portugal's tourist accommodation sector. In April 2024, the sector welcomed more than 2.6 million guests and recorded over 6.6 million overnight stays, showing a slight decrease compared to the same month in 2023. Despite this, total revenue increased, with accommodation revenue also seeing growth. From January to April 2024, overnight stays surpassed 20 million, indicating an overall increase. Total revenue for the same period showed significant growth compared to previous years. The tourism receipts for April 2024 were notably higher than in April 2023.
