The “Blueprint & Roadmap for Deploying the European Tourism Data Space,” published by DSFT and DATES in December 2023, presents a detailed strategy for creating an interoperable data space for the European tourism sector. This framework aims to mitigate sector vulnerabilities exposed by recent global crises and aligns with the European Data Strategy’s vision for a unified data market. By encouraging collaboration among a diverse range of stakeholders, including SMEs and governmental agencies, the European Tourism Data Space aims to drive innovation, enhance strategic planning, and promote sustainability.
